قامت مؤسسة التعاون بشراء مبنى سكني مهجور يعود تاريخه الى الحقبة العثمانية في حارة السعدية في البلدة القديمة لتطويعه لاستخدامه كمكتب لبرنامج اعمار البلدة القديمة في القدس.وقد تم ترميم وتأهيل المبنى المكون من طابقين باستخدام المواد والاساليب التقليدية في البناء وتنظيف الجدران الحجرية واعادة تكحيلها واعادة تأهيل البلاط الحجري التاريخي والحجر التقليدي الملون "سجادة" كما تم اضافة طابق لاستخدام البرنامج. وقد اعيد تأهيل السطح والقباب واعادة تبليطها باستخدام الاحجار القديمة واضافة ابواب وشبابيك واباجورات خشبية.

تقع واجهات مبنى هذه المدرسة المملوكية الجميلة في داخل اروقة الحرم الشريف. وقد قام ببنائها سيف الدين المنجق في عام 1361 ميلادية / 762 هجرية كجزء من المحيط المعماري التاريخي المميز للحرم الشريف، شمل المشروع ترميم الجدران الحجرية وتطوير شبكات الخدمة والخدمات الصحية وكذلك ترميم وتبليط السطح بما فيها القباب المميزة.

يقع مبنى عائلة الشهابي في شارع الزهراء في شرقي مدينة القدس. وقد تم بنائه ما بين عامي 1900 و 1920. ترجع ملكيته الأخيرة  للراحلة زليخة الشهابي والتي كانت ناشطة شهيرة في مجال حقوق المرأة الفلسطينية. إنّ سكن عائلة الشهابي في هذا المبنى يعتبر من الفترات المهمة في تطور الحياة الاجتماعية والثقافية والاقتصادية والسياسية في القدس، فلهذه الفترة قيمتها الجمالية التاريخية والتكنولوجية والوثائقية.
