Jerusalem – As part of the ongoing efforts of the Old Cities Revitalization Program to strengthen the resilience of Jerusalemites and provide a suitable educational environment for their children, a tender has been launched for the rehabilitation of Omar Ibn Al-Khattab School, located in Sur Baher and affiliated with the Palestinian Directorate of Education in Jerusalem.
This project comes within the program’s continuous role in supporting institutions in the Holy City and its firm belief in the importance of education in preserving Palestinian identity.
The project is the first in a series of upcoming projects to be tendered under a financing agreement signed between the cooperation entity and the Islamic Development Bank, in its capacity as the manager of Al-Aqsa Fund, with a total value of USD 1 million.
